Arrive Rested and Ready to Participate: We have a very ambitious program planned for next week. If possible, arrive rested and ready to get to know our conference participants and to participate fully in the conference program.Cat naps are allowed on the bus, however you should plan on getting to know those seated next to you on the bus, during meals and sessions as only brilliant and charming individuals are participating in this conference.
Transportation from the Airport to the Conference Hotel: The MAX Red Line from the Portland International Airport (PDX) to the Lloyd Center/NE 11th stop, on the corner across the street from the DoubleTree by Hilton Portland, takes approximately 27 minutes. The fare is is $2.50 and the ticket dispenser is located right outside PDX, in the MAX Red Line loading area. The train leaves every 15 minutes from 4:09AM to 12:59AM.

For law school representatives, support organizations and vendors leaving on the second bus:
Registration at the DoubleTree will continue from 8:00 until 11:15. The second and last bus to Lewis & Clark will leave promptly at 11:30.
For those few going straight to Lewis & Clark from other locations, the registration materials will be brought to Lewis & Clark and you can register there.
The conference book will be distributed at check-in/registration and will include detailed information about the schedule and our sponsors.

Please pay careful attention to our conference schedule as we need to board and depart according to our conference schedule so that we reach all of our destinations on time.The conference buses will not wait for stragglers and anyone left behind will be responsible for their own return transportation.
Conference Socials: Law school representatives, support organizations and vendors are reminded to bring 50+ business cards to share with Advisors at the evening socials at the host law schools. Advisors are encouraged to collect as many of these business cards as you can during the conference, not simply because there will be rewards involved, but because you will have this great opportunity to mingle and get to know key players in the admissions process.

Info for Hikers and Walkers
Guided hikes will depart from outside Gantenbein at approximately 8:45am. Comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers are recommended for hikers and walkers. Complimentary towels and individual lockers are available upon request if you would like to store a change of clothes while you are hiking. If you would like to freshen up after your hike or walk, we have three showers in each of the men's and the women's locker rooms in Gantenbein. Please feel free to bring your own toiletries.
Campus Tours
Departing from Gantenbein at 10am and 10:30am. If you have never been to our beautiful campus, we encourage you to take a student-led tour. Each tour will last approximately 20-30 minutes. Please meet in the Gantenbein entranceway for the tour. Hikers and walkers should have enough time to both hike and join the 10:30am tour.
Coffee & Snacks
We will be offering coffee and tea all day outside on the walkway in front of the McCarty classrooms. We will also have some granola bars and fruit for our hikers/walkers.
Lounging
If you are not hiking or walking, or if you would just like to use the morning to catch up on some work while you enjoy our coffee and snacks, please feel free to sit in the couch area by the fireplace inside Gantenbein.
